The Murphy Academy ensures all dancers receive an Irish dancing education tailored to fit their age and ability level in a fun, family friendly environment. All programs are designed to fit dancers that aspire to dance competitively or recreationally.
Our Mini Murphs — "We love Irish dance!"
Mini Murph - Preschool Program
Dancers Ages 2.5-4
Our little jiggers program is designed for your tiny dancer to have so much fun learning their first steps. Dancers improve their gross motor skills, while developing the basics and fundamentals of Irish dance.

Mini Murph II - Kindergarten Program
Dancers Ages 4-5
This new little jiggers program is designed for your kindergarten dancer to have so much fun learning their beginner steps. Dancers improve their gross motor skills, while building or continuing to build a strong Irish dancing foundation.

Beginner Program
Beginner Dancers Ages 5+
Our Beginner program is designed for your dancer to learn their skip 2,3s, hop over 2,3s, and their basic reel and light jig steps. Dancers will have so much fun building friendships and their skills all while developing the fundamentals of Irish dance.

Feis Beginner Class
Dancers Ages 5+
This class is designed for experienced Irish dancers. Please check your emails to ensure that your child should enroll in this class for our upcoming season. The feis beginner class is designed for dancers that have participated in a feis before and would like to continuing advancing their skills to reach their full potential. We can't wait to have some fun with new dances and seeing your child shine on stage.

First Time Feis Class
Dancers Ages 7+
This class is designed for experienced Irish dancers. Please check your emails to ensure that your child should enroll in this class for our upcoming season. This class is designed for dancers that have either participated in one feis, or we envision participating in their first feis this dance season. There is never any pressure to participate, this class is designed for dancers to choose their path all while loving dance, having fun, and becoming the best dancer they can be.

Advanced Beginner/Novice Class
Dancers Ages 6+
This class is designed for experienced Irish dancers. Please check your emails to ensure that your child should enroll in this class for our upcoming season. This class is created for dancers that have reached the Advanced Beginner and Novice levels. In this class, dancers will progress in their steps and dances to continue their success as an Irish dancer. We look forward to having fun while helping your dancer reach their potential.

Prelim/Prizewinner Class
Dancers Ages 8+
This class is designed for experienced Irish dancers. Please check your emails to ensure that your child should enroll in this class for our upcoming season. This class is created for dancers that have reached the Preliminary Championship and Prizewinner levels. In this class, dancers will progress as dancers to improve their technique and ability to continue to be successful Irish dancers. We look forward to having fun while helping your dancer reach their potential.

Open Championship Class
Dancers Ages 10+
This class is designed for experienced Irish dancers. Please check your emails to ensure that your child should enroll in this class for our upcoming season. This class is created for dancers that have reached the Open Championship level. In this class, dancers will advance in their technique, steps, and stamina while continuing to succeed as Open level dancers. We look forward to training your dancer for the feis, regional, national, and championships throughout the world.

Oireachtas Ceili Class
Dancers Ages 6+
Ceili dancing is a unique part of the tradition of Irish dancing. This is another dance that is performed in groups of fours, sixes, and eights. We integrate these traditional dances into our all our programs, but have specific classes for dancers performing ceili dancing at the New England Regional Championships, known as the Oireachtas.
